What does dark business suit mean?

Dress, skirt or a trouser suit in a more elegant style. Wearing a long dress is optional, but not shorter than the knee. The material of the garment is important and should not feel casual but festive.

The dark business suit dress code means that you must wear a suit (jacket and accompanying trousers) together with a nice (preferably white) shirt, tie or bow tie, a pair of formal, preferably dark shoes and possibly a handkerchief in the breast pocket. As the name of the dress code suggests, the suit must be dark; dark gray or dark blue are recommended colors. The suit jacket can be either single-breasted or double-breasted. If you want, you can also wear a vest under the blazer, that is, a so-called three-piece suit. In summary:

  • Suit in dark color

  • White shirt

  • Tie or bow tie

  • Breast handkerchief

  • Formal shoes

If you have questions about the dress code - don't hesitate to get in touch! We want you to feel comfortable and stylish, and look forward to a beautiful wedding weekend together!
